Snicker’s Cheesecake


Cheesecake…..what else is there to say???? SNICKERS!!!  Yeah…..this is a good one!

There’s actually a little back story to this cheesecake.  Someone actually asked me to make this a few months ago and it turned out fantastic but it was a different recipe from this one (I changed it a little to make it my own creation).  But a week ago someone else asked me to make this for their hubby.  He loves snickers, so I made some changes here and there and BOOM!  This one looks even yummier then the last one I made.  And from what I hear (from my friend that asked me to make it agin) it tastes AMAZING and her hubby loves it!  SUCCESS!

I love cheesecake and it always makes such a beautiful and tasty dessert.  So many people shy away from cheesecake because they think its too difficult but truth be told it’s really not that difficult, time consuming, yes, but simple.  I promise.  And once you’ve made a few of them it gets even easier.  Fun, even.  You can make up any creation you want.  And they almost always come out delicious!

You will definitely want to give this one a try!  Its super yummy and pretty easy to make!

Ingredients for the Crust:

2 Cups Oreo Crumbs

4 tbsp melted butter


Ingredients for Cheesecake filling:

3, 8 oz packages of cream cheese, room temperature

1 Cup Sugar

2 tbsp flour

4 eggs

1 Cup sour cream

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

2-3 cups chopped snickers

1/4 cup chocolate sauce

1/4 cup caramel sauce

whipped cream

1-2 cups chopped snickers for topping



Heat oven to 325°.

Mix together Oreo crumbs and melted butter.  Mix well.  Then press cookie crumb mixture into a 9″ spring form pan.

Bake crust for 10 minutes, then remove from oven.  Once you have removed the crust from the oven let it cool for 10 minutes and then wrap the sides and bottom of the pan with foil.  Set aside.

Reduce oven temperature to 300°.

With a stand mixer or hand mixer, combine cream cheese, flour and sugar, on low speed.  Blend well until mixture is smooth and creamy.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Add each egg one at a time, beating on low speed and scaling down the bowl after each addition.

Add in sour cream and vanilla and mix on low speed until well combined.

Gently, fold in the snickers.

Now, pour half of the cheesecake filling into the prepared spring form pan.

Pour half of the caramel sauce and chocolate sauce on top of the filling and swirl with a knife, creating a marbled effect.  Then pour remaining chocolate sauce and caramel sauce on top and swirl with the knife again.

Place spring form pan into another larger pan.  Fill outside pan with warm water but make sure the water dies not go past aluminum foil on the spring form pan.

Bake for 1 hour and 35 minutes.

Turn oven off after cheesecake is done and let it stay in the oven with the door closed for 20 minutes.

Once cheesecake comes out remove from larger pan and remove foil and place in the fridge, covered.

Chill for 24 hours.

Once cheesecake has chilled, remove it from the spring form pan and top with chopped snickers, caramel and chocolate sauce and whipped cream.

****My whipped cream recipe is super easy****

2 Cups of heavy cream

3/4 Cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla

Just whip with a hand or stand mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form.  Super easy and very delicious!
