Salad……..BORING! Wait, wait, WAIT!!!! Not this salad!!!! THIS salad is amaaaaazing!
Tender steak with a spicy pepper crust a top a bed of crisp fresh veggies…….sound good? It’s so good! I promise! Salads don’t have to be boring.
You will never ever have to feel bad about making salad again! And any man in your life will surely love it too! Salad isn’t just for girls! This salad has big bold flavor that EVERYONE will fall in love with!
This is such a great dinner for a busy weeknight….easy to make and easy to clean up. Those are my kind of meals!
You can make this healthy easy meal in the summer or the winter….salad is good any time of year! Not just when it’s hot!

1 lb top round steak (thin and tenderized)
2 tbsp pepper
5 cups romaine lettuce, washed
1 pckg of cherry or grape tomatoes
1 cucumber, peeled and sliced
1 cup of carrots, peeled and chopped
1 can of olives
1 onion, sliced into thin rings
1 pepper, diced
1/2 cup mozzarella, cubed (i used smoked, but feel free to use what you like)
2 avocados, sliced
crunchy lomein noodles for garnish
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar or dressing of your choice
Make sure your steak is thin and tenderized (I bought mine tenderized, but you can definitely do that yourself)
Salt both sides of your steak then sprinkle with pepper on both sides (you can always add more or less, I prefer mine with a mild peppery taste)
Grill meat on both sides 5-6 minutes per side or until the steak is done to your liking.
Set meat aside and let it rest for 2 minutes before cutting it.
In a large bowl mix all of your veggies. lettuce and cheese together except for the avocados. Add olives (make sure they are drained and give them a quick rinse)
Once the veggies are all mixed together place salad into serving bowls.
Slice meat into strips.
Place avocado on top of your salad and top with sliced steak and sprinkle with lomein noodles, they give it added crunch. Drizzle with dressing and enjoy!
