Spaghetti Bake




The weather is going to be getting cooler soon and that means comfort foods!  The kind of food that makes you feel good!  This is a great comfort food, and so easy to make!  So if you are on the go and need an easy meal, that everyone will love, this is the perfect meal!  So, all you sports families, dance families, always busy families, this is for you!




I’m sure you noticed that this is another recipe using smoked cheese.  I kind of have an addiction to it!  It has such a great smoky taste and it really adds such great depth to meals.  It’s not for everyone, so feel free to use any cheese that you prefer.


Embrace this cooler weather………it means yummy, hot, cheesy, comfort food!




1 LB whole wheat pasta (feel free to use regular pasta if you prefer)

3-4 cups of tomato sauce

1/2 an onion, chopped

1 bell pepper, chopped

1 cup olives, sliced

2 cups pepperoni, sliced in half

1 1/2 cups tomato, chopped

1 1/2 cups shredded smoked mozzarella



Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

While water is heating, chop onion, pepper, tomatoes, pepperoni and olives.  Set aside.

Once water is boiling, add your pasta and cook according to the directions on the box.  Be sure to slightly undercook the pasta, as it will cook more in the oven.

Preheat the oven 375°.

Once the pasta is ready, remove from heat and drain and rinse.

Take a little sauce and coat the bottom of a 9X13 baking dish.

In a bowl, mix your pasta, onion, pepper, tomato and pepperoni.  Once combined add tomato sauce and mix.  Make sure the pasta is well coated.

Pour pasta mixture into baking dish. Spread it evenly in dish.

Top with mozzarella.

Bake for 45 minutes covered with tin foil.

After 45 minutes remove foil and bake for additional 10 minutes or until cheese is browning and bubbly.
